Recycled Christmas Tree

when i was sat in the back of my friend Ralphys car i found an old air freshener that looked like a tree

after claiming from his car for my own use i pondered to myself what can i do with this......

and after a lick of green paint and an old star key ring and some pretty silver bits n bobs that i found in my bead box.

i ended up with a pretty Christmas decoration

Crafting goes further then the home

my crafting goes as far as mine ans stus cars.
we both own vw lupos so yes its his n hers.

and my stu wanted his interior changing so instead of paying someone loads n loads to re trim it

so i took it upon myself to do it with some suede fabric that stu picked off ebay and after making a pattern i started cutting.

i didn't bother doing a test which could have been a mistake but always making sure i left a good seam allowance

so far i have done his front a rear door cards next is the roof then the seats

Inking

last night i added to my collection of tattoos
i had a new school swallow,
its hard to explain the difference between old school and new school tattoos.
The old school style of tattooing seen in the earlier half of the 20th century used symbols that celebrated patriotism and similar values and were done by electric tattoo machines.

After the second world war, tattoos started to become associated with gangsters and juvenile delinquents. When shoddy sterilization practices sparked an outbreak of hepatitis in 1961, the scene was forced even further underground. But after new legislation was passed and updated health codes were implemented, interest was renewed by a younger generation which forged the new school style we see today. New technology combined with fresh ideas has resulted in tattoos that are bold, and bright and utilize heavy outlines.

this is it done by my very own stu pot
it is sore but it will look brill when it is healed
it is done on my thigh but i wont subject you to the whole thing

i have looked all over for a pink bean bag to make bandage girl (his girlfriend) but with no luck what so ever so im gonna have to make one so there will be a second chapter to this

John Greed comp

after liking a facebook page of john greed i came across a competition to win a voucher to spend on the website.

all i had to do was write about a piece of jewellery that means alot to you, i wrote about my much loved mouse pendant

and this is what i wrote.

This gold stone set mouse is very special to me for what it stands for, it was not a gift or a token of love, i got this for my self to remember from when i was a very little girl my mum and dad use to call me mouse after sneaking into the fridge and eating the cheese and putting bits of back into the fridge, none of my friends call me mouse but my family do and even tho i don't see them that often i still have my little mouse to remind me everyday.

i came 3rd and i never win anything lol and this is what i got with the voucher

a pretty leather bracelet for my lovely Stu

it smells amazing coz it yummy leather mmmm and i picked a pretty bracelet that reflects me lol

i hope this winning thing doesn't end soon
